"I know hes hurting me but he says he still loves me... and even if I shouldn't I still love him to..."

I reccomend viewing this deviation to the song Face Down by Red jumpsuit aparatus-

[link]

here are the lyrics-

"Hey girl you know you drive me crazy
one look puts the rhythm in my hand.
Still I'll never understand why you hang around
I see what's going down.

Cover up with make up in the mirror
tell yourself it's never gonna happen again
you cry alone and then he swears he loves you.

Do you feel like a man
when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found.

A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect
every action in this world will bear a consequence
If you wade around forever you will surely drown
I see what's going down.

I see the way you go and say your right again,
say your right again
heed my lecture

Do you feel like a man
when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
as your lies crumble down a new life she has.

One day she will tell you that she has had enough
its coming round again.
[repeat]

Do you feel like a man, when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the grown?
Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
as your lies crumble down, a new life she has.

Face down in the dirt she says, this doesn't hurt she says I finally had enough.."

end lyrics.

This is a piece in what has now become a series about different issues I think kids my age need to be more aware about. It goes along with my abortion and cutting pics.

This one is about relationship abuse and how people really are hurting. If you are in this type of relationship get OUT! You don't need to put up with the abuse... I know it can be hard when you are afraid of the man you love... but their are people out there willing to help.

thanks for viewing

I like the composition of this piece. It's more graphically full than the others in the series, but it still fits well. Nicely done, and such an important message too.

thanks! Yeah i had a much bigger piece of watercolor paper for this one so I ended up filling it up more... At first I didn't like the compostion but when i added the diary entry everything seemed to fit together.

Nice when things work out like that. ^_^

Very well put-together, again. I don't think enough people - not just teens, but adults too - realize that this isn't just something that everyone deals with. They really ought to get help, and it's sad what happens in cases where they wait too long, thinking they can tough it out and things will magically get better. After all, it's not just the victim that needs help; though it's not always clear, sometimes the antagonist needs help, too. (Not that I'm defending them, of course.) Someone really ought to make your stuff more public... There's a lot of good things in this collection, no matter how opinionated some of them might be.

Once again, you have wow'ed me.

Thanks so much.

I am glad you got that this wasn't just about teens but adults too. I made these pictures to speak to a high school audience but I definitely think this deals to all ages from teenagers to adults.

This is actually the most emotional piece in the series (besides the cutting one) for me because it is based on my own life. My mom got pregnant during her second year of college and married the man (my father) who got her pregnant after having my older sister and I he turned very violent and abusive and we had to live in that home til I was 8.

ANd I totally agree with the abuser needing help. It was court ordered my dad needed help and he lost custody of my sister and I (this is a very good thing btw) because he wasn't willing to get it.

SO glad you like this series.

I thought we'd get to see forever
But forever's gone away
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.
And I'll take with me the memories
To be my sunshine after the rain
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.

I really like how you blended the elements that help support your overall idea. Here's one suggestion, though. I think you should have left out the eyes of the man, and just left it to look like he was turned around with his back to her. It would help portray the idea of fraud committed. Besides that, this piece was nicely done. Good job.
